Journalist Michael Pollan set out to follow the natural history of four everyday meals. From the industrialization of the American food source and the nuances of organic farming, to the first-hand account of hunting one's own meal, Pollan's exploration will both surprise and engage, while prompting you to think about food in new ways. His discussion includes science, politics, local living and the place of humans within a complex world.
