Plan-B Theatre Company presents the Utah Premiere of “8” by Dustin Lance Black (Academy Award-winning screenwriter of MILK). Presented as part of Plan-B’s Script-In-Hand Series three blocks from the headquarters of the LDS Church, “8" is a docudrama inspired by the passage of Proposition 8 and the ensuing federal case for marriage equality.
Featuring a post-show discussion with Dustin Lance Black and Congressman Barney Frank, moderated by Brandie Balken of Equality Utah.
“8" is a celebration of Plan-B’s commitment to unique and socially conscious theatre.
A fundraiser for the American Foundation for Equal Rights and Plan-B Theatre Company's 2012/13 season.
