KORNGOLD Violin Concerto
The Adventures of Robin Hood! The Sea Wolf! The Violin Concerto? International superstar Hilary Hahn returns to Utah to perform a lush, heartfelt concerto by Hollywood film score legend Erich Korngold. Korngold was an Austro-Hungarian immigrant who helped found the American movie music tradition and created several gorgeously romantic works for the concert stage. Completing the Viennese connection and highlighting Korngold's artistic heritage are the final symphonies of Mozart and Mahler, two works that make every listener wish composers could live forever.
