Where can you find 200 white balloons, 24 hula hoops, 18 bouncing volleyballs and one giant weather balloon all in one place? With Ririe-Woodbury of course! This family friendly performance of CIRCLE CYCLE revolves around anything round! Life is not only full of circles but cycles . . . endless cycles of life. Beginnings becoming endings, endings becoming beginnings.
Looking at the world through a child’s eyes, a collection of ideas emerges around images of orbs, balls and spheres. Give your inner child a chance to play with this attention-grabbing performance which will not be easily forgotten by children and adults alike.
Featuring choreography by Joan Woodbury, Shirley Ririe, Tandy Beal and Jerry Pearson, Circle Cycle uses intriguing dance vignettes, narrative written by Xan Johnson and visuals by Kenvin Lyman to reinforce the importance of taking care of the world and each other.
